Book Tag Thursday: Ultimate Harry Potter Book Tag

This is a new book meme I discovered today called “Book Tag Thursday” created by Book Adventures!

Who doesn’t love doing book tags? I know I LOVE doing book tags, mostly because I love to ramble about bookish things I adore.

This week is “The Ultimate Harry Potter Book Tag”, I’m sorry I don’t know who actually created this tag so if you did or you know who did please comment so I can credit you/them!

The Ultimate Harry Potter Book Tag

1.) Favorite Book

I know, I know it was the most heart breaking book of them all, but you know what? It was still my favorite because it really brought everyone and everything together one last time. I don’t know about you guys but I really love a good ending especially when they come full circle and everything is tied together with no loose ends.

2.) Least Favorite Book

I just remember being really confused and half bored during this one, I did read it in the 5th grade but…..still. For me “Order” is just the least exciting book, period. Plus Sirius died in this one, and for that I cannot forgive this book.

3.) Favorite Movie

Now I know a TON of people disliked “The Goblet of Fire” but it, personally, was my favorite. I loved the book and I thought they did a decent job with the movie, plus I love all these Dumbledore jokes. I also thought this movie had the most action since we got to actually watch all the trials and the Yule Ball, it was awesome.

4.) Least Favorite Movie

I don’t think I really actually have a least favorite movie since I do love all of them, but I’m going with “The Prisoner of Azkaban” I just felt like they didn’t do as good of a job with this one. My one big problem being that they cut out the best Quidditch match I ever read, you know the one were they had to keep “censoring” Lee Jordan and everyone was playing dirty? It was hilarious and I missed it being cut but I also understand why. Just not my favorite movie.

5.) Favorite Quote

“We’ve all got both light and dark inside of us. What matters is the part we choose to act on, that’s who we really are.”

That quote from Sirius Black, my favorite because it’s very true and fits perfectly with the entire series as a whole. Plus I really love Sirius.

6.) Favorite Weasley

I opt for picking two favorite Weasleys because you can’t pick Fred without Geroge or vice versa. I have always loved the twins the most, they’re hilarious and I could always relate to them better.

7.) Favorite Female Character

Luna Lovegood hands down. She was so quirky and sweet I can’t help but love her the most.

8.) Favorite Villian

Because Voldemort isn’t the only crazy, homicidal, evil wizard/witch. I really just loved Bellatrix because of all of those things, she showed that men weren’t the only villains. I also really love Helena Bonham-Carter portraying her…..

9.) Favorite Male Character

Fred and George again?

No?

Fine. Then Sirius Black!

I don’t really have a specific reason that he’s my favorite, he just is…..because he’s Sirius Black.

10.) Favorite Professor

Because Professor McGonagall is a badass, that is all.

11.) Would You Rather: A.) Wash Snape’s Hair or Spend a Day Listening to B.) Lockhart Rant About Himself?

Honestly I didn’t mind Lockhart that much and I love Kenneth Branagh. Besides I wouldn’t want to touch Snape’s greasy locks with a ten foot wand….nooo thank you.

12.) Would You Rather: A.) Duel an Elated Bellatrix or B.) An Angry Molly?

Bring on Bellatrix! I honestly think I would fair better in a duel against her crazy ass than against Molly protecting her babies! I would rather wash Snape’s hair in the previous question than go up against Molly.

13.) Would You Rather Travel To Hogwarts Via The Hogwarts Express or Flying Car?

Definitely the Hogwarts Express! I get to at least travel in comfort that way and why would I want to miss out on this?

Yeah that’s right, the trolley.

Besides remember what happened to Harry and Ron when THEY took a flying car to Hogwarts?

Flying cars? No thank you.

14.) Would You Rather: A.) Kiss Voldemort or B.) Give Umbridge A Bubble Bath?

I’m pretty sure drowning Umbridge in the bath tub is cheating so I’m going to go with kissing Voldemort, because he’s Ralph Fiennes so I’d just think about that.

15.) Would You Rather: A.) Ride a Hippogriff or B.) Ride a Broom?

Both have a good appeal to them but I’d definitely go for a Hippogriff. I also feel like that would be way easier to sit on than a broom……

16.) Is There Any Character You Felt Differently About In The Movies?

Fleur Delacour. In the books she was pretty badass, I mean she did get picked to be in the Triwizard Tournament right? And she rocked that shit in the books, but in the movie? No. She was pretty lame and came off as being kind of weak and annoying. Book Fleur is so much better.

17.) Is There Any Movie You Preferred To The Book?

Oh come on now, I’m a book lover of course I’m going to pick books over their movies! The books are ALWAYS better! Always. Get it? Sorry that was a bad joke.

18.) Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore?

I was very young when I went to watch the first two Harry Potter movies so I had Richard Harris imprinted into my mind as being Dumbledore at a young age. Michael Gambon was great too but  I will always view Richard Harris as my Dumbledore.

19.) Your Top Thing (Person or Event) That Wasn’t In The Movie That You Wanted There The Most?

The one thing I’m the most upset about was that the sphinx in the Triwizard maze wasn’t included. A sphinx was guarding one of the closest routes to the Triwizard cup and Harry happened to cross her path and was made to answer a riddle. I would have LOVED to see that in “The Goblet of Fire”.

20.) If You Could Remake Any of the Movies Which Would It Be?

I wouldn’t remake any of them, I think they did the greatest job they could do with the movies. Besides I’m lazy and re-making an entire movie would be exhausting.

21.) Which House Was Your First Gut Feeling You’d Be a Part Of?

I always knew I would be a Ravenclaw, for sure, all the way. Ravenclaw.

22.) What House Were You Actually Sorted Into On Pottermore?

Yep. Called it.

23.) Which Class Would Be Your Favorite?

Care Of Magical Creatures! Because the textbooks are cool, Hagrid is your teacher, and there’s magical creatures (obviously).

24.) Which Spell Do You Think Would Be The Most Useful To Learn?

Because then I’d never have to get back up for the remote again. Ever.

25.) Which Character Do You Think You’d Instantly Become Friends With?

We would definitely hit off, plus we’re both Ravenclaws.

26.) If You Could Own One of the Three Hallows, Which Would It Be?

The Elder Wand. Because ultimate power!!!!

27.) Is There Any Aspects of the Books you’d want to change?

Besides changing the deaths of all of my favorite characters? No I wouldn’t change a thing.

28.) Favorite Marauder?

You can probably already guess if you’ve read all the other answers in this tag.

Sirius Black.

29.) If You Could Bring One Character Back To Life, Who would It Be?

Can’t I pick all of them minus any villains?!! No? Fine, then I pick Fred Weasley because my heart aches the most for George.

30.) Hallows or Horcruxes? 

Hallows, because Horcruxes get you killed….eventually….by people who have the Hallows.
