Originally I was going to do a birthday bookhaul post, but then I waited too long and got some more books so now I’m just combining the October books I got with the books I received for my birthday. September 29th is close enough to October right? I think so.
Don’t you love seeing stacks of new books?
I know you do, don’t lie.
So let’s dissect that stack shall we?
“Vengeance Road” by Erin Bowman
Part of the Birthday Bookhaul group, isn’t that cover just gorgeous?
I’ve heard good things about this book and I’ll definitely get to reading it ASAP.
“Walk on Earth a Stranger” by Rae Carson
Once again part of the Birthday Bookhaul, and again a gorgeous cover.
I haven’t read anything by Rae Carson before but tons of people rave about her other series “Girl of Fire and Thorns” series and even though I haven’t read that series, I expect this new series of hers to be good.
“The Sword of Summer” by Rick Riordan
This one was obtained by me freaking out the day it was released and running to Target and buying it. Boom. Done.
I’m sure I will just devour it like I did the Percy Jackson series.
“The Scorpion Rules” by Erin Bow
Birthday Bookhaul. I’m ALMOST finished with it as of right now and let me tell you it is absolutely awesome. Review will be coming along shortly if you’re interested!
“Dreamstrider” by Lindsay Smith
I bought this little beauty on a whim this last week because it sounds so good plus…..
GORGEOUS COVER! I have so much cover love for this book!
I’ve heard mixed reviews, but I’m hoping it’s as great as its cover….
“Six of Crows” by Leigh Bardugo
I finally got this book!!!!!!!!
Although this book came out ON my birthday I didn’t get it as part of my Birthday Bookhaul, unfortunately.
I’m definitely, DEFINITELY planning on reading this next.
“Lips Touch: Three Times” by Laini Taylor
Birthday Bookhaul, naturally because I asked for it a thousand times from my boyfriend and he really came through for me.
I finished this recently and JUST posted a review for it, which you can find here.
“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” George R.R. Martin
I bought this complretley on a whim, I saw George R.R. Martin and A Song of Fire and Ice prequel novella and I HAD to own it.
Hopefully this will help tide me over until “Winds of Winter” comes…
*shakes fist and book at George R.R. Martin*
You’re also basically getting a sneak peak of my reading schedule for the next month or two. Exciting.
Wow… just wow. This is such a great book haul, Heather! I know all these books yaaay *tap dances*
Have yet to read MANY of them though! ( that Magnus Chase hardcover nailed it)
Also, you have an awesome book-buying boyfriend xD

Well thank you! Now I really have to push through all of these, it gets so overwhelming because I’m super excited to read ALL of them. And basically for my birthday I told the boyfriend these are the books I want, don’t disappoint. Haha 🙂
