This week’s topic is pretty self explanatory and I love listing off my favorites of any topic but names will be easy and hard at the same time. I have so many I love it’ll be hard to narrow down but overall I think that it’s safe to say these are names I would name my children so you know I’m serious about them, haha!
5.) Finnick
( Finnick Odair; The Hunger Games)
Because everyone loves Finnick Odair right? Of course you do! I always thought the name Finnick was very unique but not too odd. Also I don’t think anyone would mind being named after this guy.
4.) Luna
(Luna Lovegood; Harry Potter)
Luna Lovegood is one of my favorite characters in the Harry Potter series and I adore the name as well. Plus I’m a Ravenclaw too!
3.) Arwen
(Arwen Undomiel; The Lord of the Rings)
Arwen is one of my favorite LOTR characters, alongside Eowyn, don’t get me wrong I love pretty much all of the characters but I love how beautiful the name Arwen sounds.
2.) Ronan
(Ronan Lynch; The Raven Cycle)
Sorry no pictures for this one! I was too afraid to look in case of spoilers!
So it’s pretty obvious that Ronan is my favorite character so far in The Raven Cycle series but also I can’t get over how awesome the name in itself sounds. Ronan. Pretty much screams badass.
1.) Daenerys
(Daenerys Targaryen; A Song of Ice and Fire)
I can almost guarantee this name is on everyone’s list today because not only is it a beautiful sounding name but also Daenerys Targaryen is a badass, I would definitely name a child after her period.

Love the name Luna, I also actually really like the name Hermione because it’s not a common name at least nobody I know has it, I could see myself naming my future children from Harry Potter Characters. A daughter with a middle name Hermione? I’d say she would be pretty smart and fearless haha!

You just wait I bet as soon as the “Harry Potter Generation” starts having kids there will be little Hermiones everywhere, haha! There are definitely tons of names to pick from as far as the Harry Potter series goes though. 🙂

For some reason I never even thought about that! Yes you’re right, can I have three kids and just call them Harry, Hermione and Ron… haha XD

I love the name Ronan! It’s unusual enough to be a good fantasy name, but not so unusual that it can’t be used believably in modern contexts.
Arwen is great, too! I love the Welsh-sounding names in LoTR.

That’s exactly what I think too! Unique yet not too strange. And I know right? I just love Arwen and Eowyn’s names, I mostly love the women’s names in LOTR because I could easily see someone real having those names. 🙂

Wow. I basically love every name (and character) you picked! 🙂 (Aside from Ronan – as I haven’t even started reading that series, so I don’t know him at all.) Finnick Odair is wonderful, and I think that everyone loves him as well! He is my favourite character from The Hunger Games. 🙂

Aw thanks Anna! If you ever read The Raven Boys I would LOVE to hear who your favorite is since they really are all great (I hope it’s Ronan as well haha). Also yessss Finnick is and always will be my favorite Hunger Games character! 🙂

I like the name Luna, but it is my name so I’m biased. 😀 Ronan and Arwen are great names too. 😀
