February Wrap-Up

Top Ten Tuesday(48)

So February was one of my best months ever as far as stats go which is awesome it also wasn’t such a terrible month for reading either. The only thing that happened that I wasn’t happy with was I got sick last week and didn’t get ANYTHING done, no reading or anything. Fortunately I’m feeling better and am looking forward to getting some shit done this month!

So far this is a pretty decent book and I’m still expecting to love it in the end! Amy Lukavics has yet to disappoint me!

I was also sick for one whole week in February, it is terrible for the productivity. Hope you are feeling better 🙂 My favorite read was The Republic of Thieves. It is the 3rd book in my favorite series, The Gentleman Bastards. I highly recommend that series, if you haven’t read it.

Thank you I hope you’re feeling better ow as well! Nothing like being sick to ruin productivity, you’re right.
I actually own the first book The Lies of Locke Lamora but have yet to read it I’m really glad to hear you like it so much! I’ll definitely be reading it eventually! 🙂

I have been reading the Red Rising series which I am really enjoying. This month I am just hoping to get through my TBR pile…I have too many books just sitting there feeling unloved lol. The Woman in the Walls looks good, I will have to add that to my list. I hope you have an awesome March 🙂

Glad you’re enjoying the Red Rising series! I just got a copy of the first book and am very excited to start it sometime soon! I definitely have TONS of books on my TBR as well but I won’t be getting through a lot of them anytime soon.
The Women in the Walls was pretty interesting I’ll have a review up soon! Thank you! 🙂

I just finished Pushout: The Criminalization of Black Girls in Schools, which was really interesting. I’m about to (like here in the next few minutes) start in on The Hate U Give, which apparently I can’t shut up about. Happy reading!

I curious to see your review of The Women in the Walls. I picked this up once and never made it very far. Not due to the book, but other circumstances so I would love to know whether to pick this back up.

I actually JUST finished it and enjoyed it, I did read Lukavics’s debut “Daughters Unto Devils” and this one is very similar to that one. Kind of slow to start but always ends crazily! I’ll have a review up sometime soon though! 🙂

Looks like you had a relatively productive month, Heather, despite not really falling in love with any of the books that you read! Sorry to hear that you’ve fallen sick but at least you’re feeling better and I hope you continue to recover. 🙂

I’m keen to eventually pick up The Bone Witch, but I’m not really in the mood for fantasy/sci-fi at the moment! Just reading tons of chick lit and romance, haha. Hope you have a good March. ❤

Thank you Reg! I’m really happy I was productive this month even with the sickness.
I really hope you enjoy The Bone Witch when you get a chance to read it, I definitely recommend that one! 🙂

Yay! I’m so happy you’re back and feeling better! The blogosphere is always a bit lonely without you 💕 I also had a great month stats wise and I also managed to read 5 books – twinning! I was quite looking forward to reading Wintersong (partially because of the cover) but now I’m not so sure anymore.
I hope you have a good March 🌸

      Thanks Michelle! 🙂
Yay, twinning! That always make me feel a bit more accomplished!
Wintersong was one of the better ARCs I read it didn’t live up to high expectations but was still ejoyable. One of those books I’d recommend at least checking out if you were interested just maybe go in with lower expectations just in case!
I hope you have a great March as well! 🙂

I’m glad you’re feeling better! Sorry, you didn’t have much luck with the ARCs 😦 I’ve been anticipating The Bone Witch so I’m glad you liked that one even if it did have some issues!

Thanks Lauren! It was a good month for the blog but a bad month for me with books apparently. I’m hoping this month will be better. I hope you enjoy The Bone Witch I haven’t seen too many other positive reviews but I personally really liked it! 🙂
