October Wrap-Up

Top Ten Tuesday(1)

So October was a fantastic month all around for my blog and the reading wasn’t too terrible either! This was the best month for my blog as far as stats go and I think it has to do with the fact that Halloween is my favorite holiday so I did A LOT of posting, it felt rewarding! I’m really hoping to keep the ball rolling into November as well but I’ve got a TON of books to start cramming in before the end of the year now.

I was pretty happy with the books I read this month with the only disappointing one being “This Darkness Mine” which I had a lot of personal issues with. The other 3 were fantastic though and I’d recommend all of them!

I remnant of my failed Halloween read-a-thon but it’s a pretty good read so far. I have so many ARCs I still need to read through though. I’m a mess.

I was really interested in This Darkness Mine but am not liking all of the negative reviews its been getting since it came out. Think I might have to pass on it! Hope your November reading month is good, Heather!

I concur with the negative reviews for This Darkness Mine, I was disappointed and I really was uncomfortable with some of the content.
Hope your November is amazing as well Larkin! 🙂

Yikes, that doesn’t sound good at all. Glad I didn’t end up picking it up!

The reading/blogging month went pretty great. I’m getting used to setting a schedule for myself so that’s been a little tough to get used to but I’m working on it. As for reading, I ended up reading more books than I had originally planned to.

My best reads were Dear Martin and I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter. My worst read was probably 180 Seconds. It was such a strange book. I’m currently reading The Epic Crush of Genie Lo which I’m loving!

That’s awesome, it’s always nice to end up reading more than you expected! And I am terrible at getting posts scheduled so more power to you, haha!

I am super excited to read Dear Martin I have it on hold at the library so I’m glad you enjoyed it! Hope you have an amazing reading and blogging month in November! 🙂

Haha I’m a queen of the scheduled posts because I do so much pre-writing. I rarely publish anything when I first write it 😛

Yay!!! Can’t wait to hear what you think of Dear Martin and same to you 😀

I’m very new to book blogging (started in October), but I’ve found the reading/book blogging community to be so awesome and amazing. I’ve been getting followers slowly, but much faster than I expected so I’m thankful. I’m starting The Chronicles of Narnia series this month and most looking forward to Future Home of the Living God by Louise Erdrich. 🙂
