Book #91

An Inheritance of Ashes by Leah Bobet

Date Added: July 22nd, 2015

This one sounded interesting but it hasn’t ever really interested me much after I added it and it has received “meh” reviews.

The Judgement: Go

Book #92

Half the World by Joe Abercrombie

I absolutely loved “Half a King” so I am definitely going to get around to reading the sequel, so many plot twists!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #93

Dark Shimmer by Donna Jo Napoli

Date Added: July 23rd, 2015

Image result for dark shimmer

This is a dark sort of retelling of the Evil Queen from Snow White that’s also set in medieval Venice. It sounds super unique and I already own a copy.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #94

Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson

Date Added: July 23rd, 2015

Image result for walk on earth a stranger

A western about a girl who has the ability to see gold veins during the Gold Rush era. It sounds good and I do like westerns so hopefully it turns out!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #95

The Emperor’s Blades by Brian Staveley

Date Added: July 23rd, 2015

I love fantasy especially fantasy with political intrigue which this book sounds like it has plenty of! I own a copy of this as well.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #96

Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers

Date Added: July 23rd, 2015

This one I debate a little back and forth on because it sounds good but I’m not sure if it will be good. It sounds like it could be a little trope-y but also assassins are awesome.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #97

Blood Red Road by Moira Young

Date Added: July 23rd, 2015

This sounds very “Mad Max”-esque which I like. I own a copy of this as well!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #98

The Declaration by Gemma Malley

Date Added: July 23rd, 2015

I tried reading this and it was just kind of boring and I kept it on my TBR because I own it but eeeehhhhhhh I really don’t want to finish it.

The Judgement: Go

Book #99

Genesis by Bernard Beckett

Date Added: July 23rd, 2015

A very, very short book that’s only 150 pages long! Its a sci-fi book about a futuristic Utopian city that’s holding old secrets and a girl races to uncover them. Honestly at only 150 pages I’ll keep it even if it isn’t as good as I hope it will be.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #100

Ultraviolet by R.J. Anderson

Date Added: July 23rd, 2015

While a few people seemed to have enjoyed this I just lost interest in reading this, it’s about a girl who is put into a mental institution for murdering a girl. I think there’s a spoilery element that comes into play but I won’t mention it, I just don’t think I’m ever going to get around to reading this.

Have you read any of these? What did you think?

Do you think I should have kept any of these books?

Do you agree with any of my keeps or discards?

Let me know in the comments!
