March TBR

Top Ten Tuesday (40).jpg

So I have got a TON of library books and ARCs to get through this month so this TBR is going to be pretty big! Hopefully I can get through all of them too, so far “The Heart Forger” has put me in a bit of a slump because it’s awfully slow but I’m sure one of these books can help me out of it.

The Atrocities by Jeremy C. Shipp

A short Tor novella that has some gothic horror vibes, I’m hoping it’s slightly creepy!

The Lamb Will Slaughter The Lion by Margaret Killjoy

Another Tor novella that seems like it might have some creepiness going on since it’s urban fantasy/paranormal. It sounds great though!

The Barrow Will Send What It May by Margaret Killjoy

The sequel to “The Lamb Will Slaughter The Lion”.

Blood Water Paint by Joy McCullough

I’ve heard fantastic things about this book and I’m excited to read it, although I’m a little leery of it being told in verse but I think I can handle it.

Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young

Female vikings. That’s what I’m here for!

Dread Nation by Justina Ireland

Once again, I’ve heard great things about this one already and I’m here for the diversity and zombies.

Devils Unto Dust by Emma Berquist

This one sounds like it has at least a smidgen of horror in it, and I’m here for YA horror.

Beyond a Darkened Shore by Jessica Leake

I’m not sure if I’ll like this one anymore or not because the more I read about it the more it sounds like a cliched YA fantasy book BUT I’ll still give it a chance.

Circe by Madeline Miller

I’m going to be doing a buddy read with Destiny of this one some time here this month! I enjoyed “The Song of Achilles” so I’m hoping this one is just as enjoyable.

The Heart Forger (The Bone Witch #2) by Rin Chupeco

I’m currently reading this and it’s pretty slow, but I’m pushing through.

Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire

Borrowed from the library and really excited to start it!

Descender Volume 1: Tin Stars by Jeff Lemire

Randomly picked this one up at the library just to give it a try.

East of West Volume 1: The Promise by Jonathan Hickman

Another one I randomly picked up at the library, I think there’s something about the Four Horsemen in it? Not entirely sure though.

Sex Criminals Volume 1: One Weird Trick by Matt Fraction

Because lots of other people seem to like it, and I’m always looking to read new graphic novels that aren’t super hero related.

The Unbinding of Mary Reade by Miriam McNamara

Because pirates! And about REAL pirates!
