Book #256
A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis
Date Added: March 2nd, 2016
This one sounds like it’ll be a little creepy and twisted and I have a copy on my Kindle already so…I’ll keep it.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #257
Six-Gun Snow White by Catherynne M. Valente
Date Added: March 2nd, 2016
I really enjoy retellings but Snow White isn’t exactly a favorite of mine and a western version doesn’t sound all that great to me anymore.
The Judgement: Go
Book #258
RoseBlood by A.G. Howard
Date Added: March 9th, 2016
I really, really wanted to keep this one because I love “Phantom of the Opera” but with so many DNF reviews or negative reviews I just don’t think I’d be able to finish or enjoy this.
The Judgement: Go
Book #259
The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan
Date Added: March 11th, 2016
I’m pretty sure I need to read the Heroes of Olympus series before reading this one and I haven’t done that yet. So this will be a TEMPORARY unhaul from the list because as soon as I get done with HoO I will definitely be reading this one. But why clutter up my TBR with books I won’t read yet?
The Judgement: Go (For Now)
Book #260
Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes
Date Added: March 11th, 2016
I enjoyed “You”, which is the first book, but I just don’t really see myself reading the sequel. It just doesn’t interest me as much anymore.
The Judgement: Go
Book #261
The Hammer of Thor (Magnus Chase #2) by Rick Riordan
Date Added: March 11th, 2016
I really enjoyed the first book, Norse mythology is my jam, so I will definitely be continuing and keeping this one!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #262
The Marked Girl by Lindsey Klingele
Date Added: March 14th, 2016
So this is pretty much the plot of the movie ‘Enchanted’ but it has some pretty negative reviews and I just don’t want to waste my time with it.
The Judgement: Go
Book #263
Vassa in the Night by Sarah Porter
Date Added: March 14th, 2016
This is a retelling of the Russian fairy tale Vassilissa the Beautiful, which is awesome because not only do I love retellings but I love unique retellings of more underrated fairy tales. So this is a keeper!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #264
The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig
Date Added: March 14th, 2016
People sail on a ship through time, myth, and across the world. How does that not sound awesome?
The Judgement: Keep
Book #265
Kill The Boy Band by Goldy Moldavsky
Date Added: March 14th, 2016
I just think this book sounds really fun in a messed up sort of way, if that makes sense? It’s about a group of “fangirls” that kidnap a member of their favorite boy band.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #266
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Date Added: March 24th, 2016
I know there’s pretty mixed reviews of this one but I still want to give it a try because with that gorgeous of a cover I refuse to believe it’s a terrible book!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #267
The Passion of Dolssa by Julie Berry
Date Added: March 24th, 2016
I’m not usually one for historical fiction but this one has really great reviews and seems unique.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #268
Flashfall by Jenny Moyer
Date Added: March 24th, 2016
I just don’t really have any interest in reading this one anymore.
The Judgement: Go
Book #269
A Book of Spirits and Thieves by Morgan Rhodes
Date Added: March 24th, 2016
I have the Falling Kingdoms series on my TBR too but I’ve heard great things about this spin off (I think?) so I’d like to read both…
The Judgement: Keep
Book #270
The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen
Date Added: March 30th, 2016
Just another one I forget about all the time and don’t have any more interest in reading.
The Judgement: Go
Book #271
The Cursed Queen (The Impostor Queen #2) by Sarah Fine
Date Added: April 4th, 2016
I really enjoyed “The Impostor Queen” so I’m excited to continue the trilogy, eventually.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #272
Revival, Vol. 1: You’re Among Friends by Tim Seeley
Date Added: April 20th, 2016
Midwest with zombies!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #273
Railhead by Philip Reeve
Date Added: May 2nd, 2016
Sentient trains that can take you anywhere in the galaxy, yes please. This sounds like how I wanted “Honor Among Thieves” to go.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #274
Untitled (Stolen Crowns #1) by Jessica Day George
Date Added: May 3rd, 2016
This one has been post-poned indefinitely so I’ll be getting rid of it. If it one day decides to be published I will add it back.
The Judgement: Go
Book #275
The Swan Riders (Prisoners of Peace #2) by Erin Bow
Date Added: May 4th, 2016
I really enjoyed “The Scorpion Rules” and I heard the sequel here was just as good so I’ll keep it.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #276
Frost by M.P. Kozlowsky
Date Added: May 4th, 2016
There’s robots and zombies, but I just don’t really have any real interest in this book anymore.
The Judgement: Go
Book #277
Yesternight by Cat Winters
Date added: May 4th, 2016
I know I said I’d be keeping pretty much all of Cat Winters’ books but this one just doesn’t sound as intriguing to me, so it’ll go.
The Judgement: Go
Book #278
Frostblood by Elly Blake
Date Added: May 4th, 2016
This one just sort of sounds like every other cliched YA fantasy so I don’t really need another one of those.
The Judgement: Go
Book #279
Scythe by Neal Shusterman
Date Added: May 4th, 2016
Reapers! People no longer die so it’s up to the “scythes” to keep the population under control. Definitely sounds interesting!
The Judgement: Keep

Yeah, that’s kind of the vibe I was getting too! It’s just so disappointing because a Phantom of Opera should have been awesome!
