Book #328
Transparent by Natalie Whipple
Date Added: July 8th, 2016

This one’s about an invisible girl whose father had her spying and breaking into places for him. Her mother and her finally flee but her father won’t give her up. It sounds interesting but I just don’t think I’d enjoy it all that much.

The Judgement: Go

Book #329
The Ward by Jordana Frankel
Date Added: July 8th, 2016

I thought this one sounded good since it takes place in a water logged Manhattan and the MC takes on a government mission in order to find a cure for a disease her sister suffers from. I just think the setting sounds unique!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #330
Valkyrie Rising by Ingrid Paulson
Date Added: July 8th, 2016

As much as I love the idea of a book set in Norway involving valkyries, I just think the romance might be too much.

The Judgement: Go

Book #331
Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige
Date Added: July 11th, 2016

I just think Danielle Paige’s books aren’t for me.

The Judgement: Go

Book #332
The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings
Date Added: July 12th, 2016

Another book with a great sounding synopsis but seems that the plot gets overshadowed by romance.

The Judgement: Go

Book #333
Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott
Date Added: July 12th, 2016

This one involves an epic race across many different climates, and that’s all I really need to know about it. Sounds awesome!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #334
Death Sworn by Leah Cypess
Date Added: July 12th, 2016

As interesting as this one sounds I heard the world building isn’t super explored and it takes place underground the entire time. So not really my cup of tea.

The Judgement: Go

Book #335
The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows
Date Added: July 12th, 2016

I’m willing to take the risk with this one, I know it will probably be super cliched but I really enjoyed the book Meadows collabed on “My Lady Jane” so I want to give her a try.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #336
Reawakened by Colleen Houck
Date Added: July 12th, 2016

As much as I want to read a book with Egyptian mythology and I believe a partial Egyptian setting, I’ve heard this is just….terrible. I’ll look for my Egypt fix elsewhere.

The Judgement: Go

Book #337
Inherited by Freedom Matthews
Date Added: July 14th, 2016

I added this for the pirates and gorgeous cover, BUT it seems way too romance focused for me.

The Judgement: Go

Book #338
The Witch Hunter by Virginia Boecker
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

Witches! Hunters! Witch Hunters! But also a love triangle, that I’m really not looking forward to! Yeah, I’m willing to give it a try since I bought it but my expectations are very low.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #339
Tiny Pretty Things by Sona Charaipotra & Dhonielle Clayton
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

A dramatic, cut-throat ballerina story! Or at least that’s what I got out of it, sounds like it’s definitely entertaining though.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #340
Pivot Point by Kasie West
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

Eh. It just doesn’t sound all that good to me anymore.

The Judgement: Go

Book #341
The Falconer by Elizabeth May
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

Yeaaaaah, I haven’t heard the best things about this book so I’m just going to get rid of it.

The Judgement: Go

Book #342
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

One of the few Rainbow Rowell books I’ll keep just to give her a try.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #343
Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

Definitely keeping because I loved “Daughter of Smoke & Bone”!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #344
Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

I don’t really have a big reason with this one other than that I just don’t have any interest in it anymore.

The Judgement: Go

Book #345
The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

Everyone talks about this book and I feel like it’ll be one that I’ll either really love or really hate. We’ll see.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #346
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

I only got this because one of my friend’s highly recommended it to me and I read a couple of chapters and I feel like it is not for me. I don’t see myself enjoying it.

The Judgement: Go

Book #347
Keturah and Lord Death by Martine Leavitt
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

Definitely keeping this one because it sounds great and seems very underrated.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #348
Blackbringer by Laini Taylor
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

I pretty much make it a rule to keep everything by Laini Taylor on my TBR.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #349
The First Time She Drowned by Kerry Kletter
Date Added: July 15th, 2016

I don’t usually enjoy contemporaries and I just don’t think I’ll ever read this one.

The Judgement: Go

Book #350
Shutter, Vol. 1: Wanderlost
Date Added: July 19th, 2016

As interesting as this one sounds I read reviews that said it wasn’t executed well.

The Judgement: Go

Book #351
Demon Road by Derek Landy
Date Added: July 19th, 2016

Honestly, this one sounds a lot like “Supernatural” and that’s all the incentive I need.

I’m glad you decided to keep The Darkest Minds! I read a few years back and remember really enjoying it. I want to finish this trilogy, since the movie will be coming out! ❤

That’s another big reason I decided to keep The Darkest Minds, the movie! Hopefully I can fit it in before then but there’s just too many books to get through, glad to hear you enjoyed that one though! 🙂

Valkyrie Rising by Ingrid Paulson – Looked so good, then you said romance and I took a few steps back.

Right? Haha! It sounded really interesting but I feel like the romance would end up taking over the plot so I don’t want to waste my time. Also just in case you’re looking for a book with Valkyries I recommend “Between the Blade and the Heart”! 🙂

Yeah hate it when the romance does that
