1.) Katara and Sokka: The Best Sibling Relationship

I really love the sibling relationship between Tea and Fox in “The Bone Witch” and “The Heart Forger”. They’re both very protective of each other and I like how they’re always there for each other!

2.) Yue: Favorite Star-Crossed Lovers

There’s actually a few couples that I love that fit this but I really love Kestrel x Arin from the Winner’s Trilogy. I’m a sucker for a good forbidden romance!

3.) Blood Bending: A Book With A Disturbing/Unsettling Content

Definitely “Alice”, there’s a lot of really disturbing scenes depicting rape and a lot of violence. However, it’s still such a great, creative book especially for an “Alice in Wonderland” retelling.

1.) Toph: A Character Whose Strength Surprised You or The Other Characters In The Book

I’m going to go with Kestrel since I was expecting her to be an uninteresting/not-badass character but I liked how strong willed she ended up being and smart with her strategizing.

2.) The Tales of Ba Sing Se: Best Short Story/Poetry Collection

One of my favorite short stories comes from “Slasher Girls & Monster Boys” and it’s called “Sleepless” by Jay Kristoff. It is very creepy but comes with an AWESOME plot twist!

3.) Kioshi Warriors: Best Warrior Character

I love, love, love Lada from “And I Darken”! She’s so fierce and definitely doesn’t take shit from anyone!

1.) Zuko: Best Redemption Arc

Honestly? The best redemption arc I’ve ever seen is Zuko’s……

2.) Iroh: Wisest Character

Gandalf from “The Hobbit”/”The Lord of the Rings”, I don’t think I need to explain much on this one!

3.) Azula: Best Downfall

I don’t know if this is really the best but it was the most satisfying….Dolores Umbridge from the Harry Potter series.

1.) Appa: Favorite Fictional Animal/Pet

Buruu from “Stormdancer”, he’s an arashitora (thunder tiger) that the main character has the ability to telepathically communicate with. He’s very sassy, I love it!

Pretty much every single character in “Queens of Geek”, they’re all precious and must be protected at all costs!
