Book #423
The Wood by Chelsea Bobulski
Date Added: October 27th, 2016

This one has such a deliciously creepy book cover and I’m down for anything creepy, also there’s portals and some sort of time travel I believe!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #424
House of Furies by Madeleine Roux
Date Added: October 27th, 2016

“Asylum” was an okay read for me but I’m interested in Roux’s other books so I’d like to give this one a try.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #425
Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao
Date Added: October 27th, 2016

Definitely keeping because it’s a East Asian inspired fantasy and reimagining of the Evil Queen legend. I’m all for a book (series technically) about a character with good intentions becoming an “evil” character!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #426
Godsgrave (Nevernight #2) by Jay Kristoff
Date Added: October 27th, 2016

Because “Nevernight” was amazing!!!!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #427
Pitch Dark by Courtney Alameda
Date Added: October 27th, 2016

I enjoyed “Shutter” but I’m really looking forward to this one since it reminds me of the Alien franchise.

The Judgment: Keep

Book #428
The Possible by Tara Altebrando
Date Added: October 27th, 2016

I’m not really sure why I ever added this, zero interest in it anymore.

The Judgement: Go

Book #429
Witchtown by Cory Putman Oakes
Date Added: October 27th, 2016

I love books about witches but this one just doesn’t sound all that great to me anymore.

The Judgement: Go

Book #430
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Date Added: October 27th, 2016

Eh, as much as I love Stiefvater’s writing I don’t think I’d enjoy this one.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #432

I mean….there’s were-dragons and a heist so what’s not to be excited about?

The Judgement: Keep

Book #433
Devils and Thieves by Jennifer Rush
Date Added: November 1st, 2016

Magic and motorcycles, yes!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #434

The Judgement: Go

Date Added: November 1st, 2016

Not interested in it anymore.

The Judgement: Go

Book #436
Shatter by Aprilynne Pike
Date Added: November 3rd, 2016

While I did enjoy the first book, “Glitter”, I just don’t really want to read the sequel.

The Judgement: Go

Book #437
Kinslayer (The Lotus War #2) by Jay Kristoff
Date Added: November 7th, 2016

Keeping because I loved “Stormdancer”!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #438
All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill
Date Added: November 7th, 2016

More time travel and pretty much everyone gave this a great review, so there’s that!

Book #439
Charm & Strange by Stephanie Kuehn
Date Added: November 7th, 2016

Yeah, I own two of Kuehn’s books and still need to read them both. They sound so good though!

The Judgement: Keep

Book #440
Blight by Alexandra Duncan
Date Added: November 7th, 2016

Another YA dystopian I just don’t really feel like reading anymore.

The Judgement: Go

Book #441
Dividing Eden by Joelle Charbonneau
Date Added: November 7th, 2016

Honestly this just doesn’t really sound like anything new as far as YA Fantasy is concerned.

The Judgement: Go

Book #442
The Jinni (The Forbidden Wish #0.5) by Jessica Khoury
Date Added: December 9th, 2016

Keeping this little short story because I loved “The Forbidden Wish”.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #443
The Rook by Daniel O’Malley
Date Added: December 14th, 2016

This is another book that has stellar reviews and it seems like people have powers, which is always cool.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #444

Date Added: December 14th, 2016

I’m not the biggest fan of historical fiction and this just doesn’t sound all that good to me anymore.

The Judgement: Go

Book #445
Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein
Date Added: December 14th, 2016

One of the few historical fiction books I think would be able to hold my attention.

The Judgement: Keep

Book #446
Obsidio (The Illuminae Files #3) by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
Date Added: December 14th, 2016

I CANNOT BELIEVE I HAVEN’T READ THIS YET. I own it though so sooooon.

I KNOW, I’M SO SORRY LAUREN! Haha! I just have other books I need to get to, drowning myself in too many review copies over here! I know once I start Obsidio I will just burn through it because it’s an amazing series. So far I’ve only read the first two Merciless books but I agree the first one just has a special place in my heart, glad to know you still loved the third one though since I just got it! 🙂

I can’t do the whole down the tbr hole thing. I just want to read all the things and I have excepted my fate of my tbr being infinite forevermore long ago.

I completely understand! I honestly haven’t gotten rid of too terribly many with the TBR purge, it’s still massive so like you said I’ve kind of just accepted it’s never going to get that much smaller, haha! 🙂

The Rook sounds very intriguing and has been on me list for forever. I was excited to see I am not the only one who hasn’t read it yet!

I’ve only read two of the books on your list, Godsgrave and Code Name Verity. Gogsgrave was my #1 favorite book of last year so definitely keep that. Code Name is one of the saddest books I have ever read and it was tough for me to get through because of the writing. Wein jumps between characters and years and locations and it’s hard to keep up but once you find the rhythm, it’s great. Curious to see what you think when you get to them.

So glad to hear you enjoyed both of those, I know I will 100% love Godsgrave and I’m not usually too keen on historical fiction but Code Name Verity sounds like something worth the read but I’ll prepare for the tears too now.
