Book #471
Attachtments by Rainbow Rowell
Date Added: January 9th, 2017
I’m not sure if Rowell’s books are for me.
The Judgement: Go
Book #472
What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler
Date Added: December 26th, 2016
I have heard so many good things about this book and I feel like it’s a very important one as well dealing with rape culture.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #473
Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick
Date Added: December 26th, 2016
I got a copy of this one from my library book sale, I’m not sure exactly what this one is about but I’m thinking it deals with suicide/murder of a boy and his friend. It seems like an interesting read though I’m curious to see how the subject matter is handled.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #474
My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix
Date Added: December 27th, 2016
This one seems super good because I love me some horror books, also it’s set in the 80’s and seems like there’s a bunch of good pop culture references!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #475
All The Ugly And Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood
Date Added: December 27th, 2016
This one seems like it deals with some dark and taboo subject matter, a grown man’s relationship with a little girl. However, from all of the reviews it seems it’s not depicted in the way you might think and is far from disgusting, even if it sounds that way at first. Definitely curious to see for myself.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #476
The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon
Date Added: December 27th, 2016
I read a sample of this one before buying it on sale for my Kindle, it’s a fantasy but it seems like it might be a bit more NA than YA. Still it was interesting and seems like it’s a pretty underrated book.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #477
Strands of Bronze and Gold by Jane Nickerson
Date Added: December 28th, 2016
I heard this book was a ‘Bluebeard’ retelling which I love retellings plain and simple, it was also $0.99 on Book Outlet so I mean for $0.99 it’s worth a shot!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #478
Deadly Class, Vol. 1: Reagan Youth
Date Added: January 1st, 2017
I went on a binge of adding a bunch of graphic novels without actually being sure about them. This is one of the ones I probably shouldn’t have added since I don’t really have any interest in it anymore.
The Judgement: Go
Book #479
Blankets by Craig Thompson
Date Added: January 4th, 2017
EVERYONE says how good this graphic novel is but it just doesn’t seem like something I’d like all that much. I like action and dragons and pirates in my stuff…..
The Judgement: Go
Book #480
Anya’s Ghost by Vera Brosgol
Date Added: January 4th, 2017
This seems like it’s kind of cute and I’ve heard lots of good things about it.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #481
Seconds by Bryan Lee O’Malley
Date Added: January 4th, 2017
I got a copy of this based off of a BookTube recommendation, it sounds interesting!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #482
The Wake by Scott Snyder
Date Added: January 5th, 2017
No more interest.
The Judgement: Go
Book #483
Hack/Slash Omnibus Vol. 1 by Tim Seeley
Date Added: January 5th, 2017
Another one I’m just not interested in anymore.
The Judgement: Go
Book #484
Fables, Vol. 1: Legends in Exile by Bill Willingham
Date Added: January 5th, 2017
I know this is a favorite series for a lot of people but I’m just not all that interested in reading it at the moment. I may add it back later!
The Judgement: Go
Book #485
Preludes & Nocturnes (The Sandman #1) by Neil Gaiman
Date Added: January 5th, 2017
Keeping because it’s Neil Gaiman…and a graphic novel….
The Judgement: Keep
Book #486
Patience by Daniel Clowes
Date Added: January 5th, 2017
Not interested in it anymore, like I said I binge added graphic novels.
The Judgement: Go
Book #487
House of Penance by Peter J. Tomasi
Date Added: January 5th, 2017
No longer interested, I don’t really have a bigger reason than that!
The Judgement: Go
Book #488
Baba Yaga’s Assistant by Marika McCoola
Date Added: January 5th, 2017
Tales of Baba Yaga interest me so this graphic novel is a keeper!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #489
Talon by Julie Kagawa
Date Added: January 5th, 2017
Yeah, I’ve pretty much kept all of Julie Kagawa’s books on my TBR because they all sound too good!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #490
Change Places With Me by Lois Metzger
Date Added: January 5th, 2017
I’m still not 100% sure about this book but it seems like it might be interesting and it’s pretty short at 224 pages so it may be worth the read.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #491
Things We Have In Common by Tasha Kavanagh
Date Added: January 6th, 2017
I heard this book has some mindfuckery in it.
The Judgement: Keep
Book #492
The Forgotten Girls by Sara Blaedel
Date Added: January 6th, 2017
I don’t have any interest in this much anymore.
The Judgement: Go
Book #493
The Walled City by Ryan Graudin
Date Added: January 9th, 2017
I’ve heard so many great things about “Wolf by Wolf” also by Ryan Graudin, which is also on my TBR, but this one sounds great as well!
The Judgement: Keep
Book #494
The Miniaturist by Jessie Burton
Date Added: January 9th, 2017
I’m not the biggest fan of historical fiction but I may add this one back eventually since I do like the occasional magical realism.
The Judgement: Go

I’m glad to see you’re keeping What We Saw on your TBR. I feel it’s a very important novel focuses on rap culture… it wasn’t easy to read, but it definitely worth it!

That’s exactly why I bought it, I heard such good things about it and what it represents. I know it might be hard to read at times, like you said, but I’m sure I’ll come out of it with a great reading experience nonetheless. I can’t help but compare it to “Bad Romance” by Heather Demetrios if you’ve heard of that one, it deals with physical, verbal, and emotional abuse and while it was hard to read it was still a fantastic book and I felt the rep was good.
