June Wrap-Up

Top Ten Tuesday(37)

I didn’t get quite as much reading done as I would have liked but I was happy with the books I did get to, they were all fantastic! However, July has me stuck with a TON of reading to catch up on now. I may or may not be crushed to death by my TBR pile, if you all don’t hear from me that’s probably what happened! Still, I’m looking forward to another great reading month this July, hopefully you all will as well!

Books Read: 4 1/2 (5 including a DNF)
The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison

The Bird and the Blade by Megan Bannen

Bruja Born by Zoraida Córdova

Furyborn by Claire Legrand

A Thousand Beginnings and Endings by Ellen Oh

This month was actually a really great month for reading, which I am super excited about! Every book was amazing with the exception of “Furyborn” which I unfortunately DNFed. I can’t even pick a favorite read out of the other 4 though because they were all that good!

June went by incredibly fast! I managed to read a ton more than normal (but only due to bedrest) yet I am still behind?! And hey, I will take quality over quantity any day. Your June reading looks like a win to me! Here is hoping July is even better 💕

Thanks Danielle! I would take quality over quantity as well, I’d rather read 2 really good books all month than a bunch of mediocre ones! And no matter how much I read in a month I always feel super behind, no worries there! 🙂

Haha I feel you about always feeling behind. I think if I did not, I would worry I had forgotten something. And yes, always quality over quantity 💕

Mistborn is one of my favourite fantasy novels, I’m glad you are enjoying it! I am currently reading The Painted Man, which has a similar vibe.

Some great books on your list there. Sorry to hear that you couldn’t get into Furyborn. 😦 I hope July will be without dnf’s and more new favorites.
