I could have sworn I did this tag once before but I guess not! This does mean I’ll run out of fall book tags at some point though, thank goodness that day is not today. If you would like to check out more fall book tags I will list the others I have done:
I found this tag on A Novel Glimpse and it was created by Sam @ Novels and Nonsense.
Crunching Leaves: The world is full of color. Choose a book that has reds, oranges and yellows on the cover.
This was instantly the first book I thought of for this! It’s one of my all time favorites: a great villain and plenty of action and twists. I definitely recommend it and the unique format makes for a fun reading experience as well!
Cozy Sweater: It’s finally cold enough to don warm cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?
There is just so much cuteness and fluff in this book, it definitely thawed this cold heart of mine and gave me the warm fuzzies! (I say I have a cold heart just because I never read warm, fuzzy, romance-y books) I loved all the characters and romances, they were so adorable and the pop culture references were a lot of fun for me. It’s also an extremely diverse cast of characters featuring POC characters, LGTBQ+ characters, and characters with mental illnesses or disabilities.
Fall Storm: The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favorite book OR genre that you like to read on a stormy day.
Fantasy has always been my go to genre so it’s perfect for a rainy day in my book because their worlds are so engrossing. I would say horror but….depending on how scary it is I may not want to read it during a storm…
Cool Crisp Air: What’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?
If I’m being completely honest? None. Sure there are worlds I’d love to visit but a lot of them are pretty dark at times, I feel safer here in this world being me. Now if the question means more so a world I’d visit the answer is the same as always: Middle Earth. But I don’t want to swap places with anyone, that’s asking for trouble.
Hot Apple Cider: What under hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?
“The Siren and The Specter” I feel is pretty underrated even though it recently released this month. I want everyone to read this book! It’s so well written, the characters are complex, there’s more to it than just the scares, but the scares…..are terrifying! All around a fantastic horror book about a haunted house.
Coat, Scarves and Mittens: The weather has turned cold and it’s time to cover up. What’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?
I don’t own one. Honestly, if a cover was THAT embarrassing to me I wouldn’t by a physical copy. Mostly though, I read what I want regardless of the cover and I don’t care what people think of the cover.
Pumpkin Spice: What’s your favorite fall time comfort food/foods?
Do drinks count? Because it’s tea, tea, tea, and tea!
Tag! You’re It!
(As usual do not feel obligated to do this tag if you don’t want to and sorry if you’ve done this one already, feel free to ignore this! Also if you’d like to do this tag but were not specifically tagged, consider yourself tagged!)
