I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m stuck in an eternal slump. Please send help! I honestly think the cure for me would be to take a break from review copies and read the books I have that I’ve been dying to read. I just have so many review copies I still need to finish that I feel guilty doing that but it’d be better than this endless “everything slump”!
Thank you all for your comments and support, know that I appreciate it all even if I’m still really absent!
Books Read This Month: 1
Sadly this was my only read in January, I think I’ve come down with a bad case of the January Blues to be honest. However, I decided to give this a read since I felt I needed to read something really addicting and that’s exactly what I got! This was a 5 Star read for me and I enjoyed everything about it.

I just received an ARC of this and will be participating in the blog tour on the 19th, so be on the look out! I’m actually really enjoying it so far, it has POC and LGTBQ+ rep too! It tells the story of two young women “post-epic quest to save the kingdom” and how they find their way back to each other.

Good luck getting out of your slump! I say ignore the review copies for a little and give in to a bit of mood reading.
I didn’t read as much as I wanted in January, but the majority of the books I did finish were four/five star reads. Which = quality over quantity, right?

Honestly your comment feels like such a relief, like the weight of review copies has been taken off of my shoulders! And yes I 100% agree with quality over quantity I’m glad to hear your books were great reads as well! 🙂

Oh no, I am so sorry you are stuck in a slump eternal! I’ve been struggling as well, so I wonder if it is the time of the year. At least your one book was a 5 star read, I’ve heard great things about that book. Happy reading this month, love!
