May + June Wrap Up

Top Ten Tuesday (58).jpg

I’m just gonna slide back in here and act like I haven’t been MIA for 2 months….

Also always looking for an excuse to use ‘John Wick’ gifs. Sorry, the unannounced break was needed apparently. I have been out of the loop and I actually hate not knowing what’s going on in the book community, I’ve missed it! Without further ado here’s my (mostly reading) wrap ups for May and June!

Books Read: 4

My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan BraithwaiteRed, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuistonPan's Labyrinth by Guillermo del ToroLock Every Door by Riley Sager

I actually really enjoyed all of these books, thank goodness or my slumpiness would have been a lot worse! I am going to try and have full reviews up for all of them soon but I have to say the book adaptation of “Pan’s Labyrinth” was probably my favorite and “Lock Every Door” was a very close second.

Civil War Event

I finished up this comic arc and it was fairly enjoyable, some story lines were more interesting with others so it was a bit of a slog at times. I think I might do a review of the entire Civil War event and break each story line down with my thoughts and opinions.

Secret Wars (2015) Event

The newest comic event that I have started and I have to say I’m enjoying it a lot more than I did Civil War, it’s just more interesting and quirky and FUN! When I finish reading all of the issues in this event I’ll be doing a review break down of each story line to give you all my thoughts and opinions!
