November Wrap-Up

Top Ten Tuesday (4)

There’s nothing wrong with posting your wrap up in the middle of the month, right? I’m finally getting into reading more after what feels like an entire year long slump. Better late than never.

Books Read: 5 (4)

Full Throttle by Joe HillHis Hideous Heart by Dahlia AdlerAll Systems Red by Martha WellsTo Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky ChambersRick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons by Patrick Rothfuss

I didn’t have a “bad” book all month which is always a good thing. I did DNF “To Be Taught If Fortunate” because I had to bring it back to the library and I was not feeling it. It was just way too slow and uninteresting for me at the time. And I did rate “His Hideous Heart” 3.5 because there were a few good stories but overall I didn’t completely fall in love with it.

Otherwise I really enjoyed “Full Throttle”, “All Systems Red”, and “Rick & Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons”. “Full Throttle” had a lot of amazing, well written, and a few horrifying stories that I had a blast reading. “All Systems Red” is a novella that I am now in the process of bingeing the series because they’re hilarious and full of sci-fi action.  And the reason I loved the ‘Rick and Morty’ graphic novel is because I love the TV Show and I love playing D&D, it was the perfect blend for fans of both and was really fun to read.

Normally I’d have a little spot here for my Bookstagram posts but I didn’t do ANY of that last month so it’s blank but if you want to see some of my bookish photos my handle is @thesassybookgeek!

Currently Reading:

OasisRogue Protocol (The Murderbot Diaries, #3)

As I said I am currently binge reading the Murderbot Diaries and this is the 3rd installment, still not disappointed. And “Oasis” is an ARC that will be released next month about a group of teens that are volunteering on an archaeological dig in Dubai when a sandstorm strands them in the desert. I’m really enjoying it so far too!
