Top Ten Tuesday: 5 Star TBR Predictions

Top Ten Tuesday

I was actually thinking of doing a post similar to this so good thing I held off so I could participate this week! I always think this is fun to do because while I always hope I enjoy a book on my TBR I’m not always thinking they’ll be a full 5 stars. However, these are the ones I’m thinking might make that cut *fingers crossed*!

These titles are not listed in any particular order and I will link each one to their Goodreads page.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

It has now been moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl.

10.) Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik

I loved Novik’s other fantasy novel “Uprooted” she just has an amazing way of telling a story and it just draws me in. This is also a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin and I’m also a sucker for fairy tale retellings, I’m sure I’ll be giving this one 5 stars!

9.) Godsgrave (The Nevernight Chronicle #2) by Jay Kristoff

I freaking loved “Nevernight”, I pretty much have enjoyed all of Kristoff’s books that I have read though so that’s no surprise. It’s so dark and drew me in 100% so I’m very excited to (eventually) continue on with the series but I’m pretty sure I’ll be giving all three books the 5 star rating.

8.) Vengeful (Villains #2) by V.E. Schwab

Another book where I absolutely loved the first installment and expect no less of the sequel. “Vicious” was perfection and I’m beyond excited to continue on with the next book.

7.) The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus #1) by Rick Riordan

I, like many people, enjoyed the Percy Jackson series and I need more! I have the entire Heroes of Olympus series but just need to find the right time to pick up the first book because I know I’ll probably devour book after book.

6.) Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer #1) by Laini Taylor

I love Laini Taylor’s writing, it’s so beautiful and her world building is phenomenal. So I’m curious to see how one of her latest books will pan out for me but knowing her, I will love it!

5.) The Queen of Blood (The Queens of Renthia #1) by Sarah Beth Durst

I’m not sure what it is about this book but it just sounds amazing on top of that it also has some pretty glowing reviews. I’ve heard that no character is safe and the author is the “right” amount of evil with the story, which is basically what I live for in fantasy. I’m really looking forward to seeing if it’s worth the hype I have instilled upon it.

4.) A Torch Against the Night (An Ember in the Ashes #2) by Sabaa Tahir

Yes, I read and adored the first book. It was just that fantastic and I went out and bought the sequel right away because that cliffhanger ending had me deceased. I still haven’t read it but hey, there’s too many books and too little time. However, when I do get around to it I have no doubt I will love this one just as much!

3.) The Rise of Kyoshi (The Kyoshi Novels #1) by F.C. Yee

Let’s see, we have a full length novel about Avatar Kyoshi from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I expect to 100% fully fall in love with this. Kyoshi is one of my faves and A:TLA is one of my all time favorite shows.

2.) The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

This is one of those books where the premise just sounds THAT good, that I think I will love it! Each night Evelyn Hardcastle is murdered and each day this tragic ending repeats itself, unless one of the guests, Aiden, can identify the killer. It just sounds like one of those classic murder mysteries with a great twist on it. I really think I’ll enjoy it!

1.) Iron Gold (Red Rising Saga #4) by Pierce Brown

So the first three books (originally just a trilogy) pretty much destroyed me but I loved every second of it. I am ready to be hurt again! These books are so full of twists I am never prepared and I know I’ll love this one just as much as I loved the other three.

The Lost Hero is my fav Heroes of Olympus book. I’m due for a reread though to see if that still stands.

I read Spinning Silver in January and I adored it! I’m happy to see it as your 5 star prediction and I hope that it comes true. 😀 I seriously can’t wait to get my hands on The Rise of Kyoshi, she is one of my favourite characters from ATLA. Hopefully it will be a great read for both of us. Amazing post Heather! 🙂

Heather! Long time no speak ❤

I’ve been wanting to make a list like this for the longest time, but I just haven’t gotten round to it. The Seven and a Half Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is five star prediction for me as well. I love the premise of the story and it reminds me so much of the TV show Russian Doll! I think Strange The Dreamer might be another five star for me too and then I’m hoping to finally get to the Neverknight trilogy this year.

I hope all these books turn out to be amazing xx
