The Makeup Book Tag

Top Ten Tuesday(52)

I found this tag on Kayla Justice, so be sure to head over and check out her answers as well! I really loved how she included her favorite makeup product along with the book so I’m going to be doing that too, I mean this is all about makeup AND books after all!

I do have reviews for most of these up if you’d like to read my full thoughts!

Primer – Pick a book that left a lasting impression.

Nyx Angel Veil Primer & Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff

Related imageImage result for stormdancer book cover

I absolutely love using this NYX primer because it not only holds foundation well but really smooths out the face too, I could easily just slap this on and be done!

“Stormdancer” is also easily one of my favorite fantasy books it has pretty much every element I look for in a perfect fantasy book. Action, world building, and next to no distracting romance! It left a lasting impression because of all of those things too, it was just TOO GOOD!  If you love fantasy this is one I definitely recommend.

Foundation – Pick your favorite first book in a series.

Maybelline Dream Cushion & Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

Image result for maybelline dream cushionRelated image

My skin is actually pretty clear so normally I’d use a powder foundation because it’s quicker but when I have time I absolutely love to use this cushion foundation because it’s also pretty quick. It also lasts for a while and goes on with no hassle.

This may be cheating since the third book hasn’t come out yet but I didn’t enjoy “Gemina” (the sequel) nearly as much as I did “Illuminae” so I think it’s safe to say it will remain my favorite first book in this series.

Concealer – Pick a character you wish you could get rid of.

Maybelline Master Conceal & Celaena from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Image result for maybelline master concealerImage result for throne of glass book cover

I like this concealer because not only is it full freaking coverage but you also use the tiniest drop for big areas so a tube lasts a long time

Sorry, not sorry but Celaena drives me nuts! If I could get rid of a character it’d be her! If you brag about being literally the BEST assassin of all time, ever then you need to prove it and not spend all your time complaining, mooning over boys, and obsessing over clothes and shoes.

Powder – Pick your favorite last book in a series.

e.l.f. HD Setting Powder & Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

Image result for elf perfect finish hd powderImage result for the deathly hallows book cover

Setting powder is something I’m not really picky about but I prefer a solid powder over a loose powder and e.l.f. is cheap!

I’m notorious for not ever finishing series, period. So the pretty obvious pick is of course The Deathly Hallows because I thought it was a fantastic end to a wonderful series!

Eyebrows – A Book you think everyone should read.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade & The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

Image result for anastasia beverly hills dipbrow pomadeImage result for the hate u give book cover

Hands down my favorite brow product and I now refuse to use anything else ever! It fills them in perfectly and its quick and easy too, the Soft Brown matches my eyebrow coloring exactly.

Everyone should read The Hate U Give! Everyone! Not only is it an important and very powerful book it’s also just a wonderful, perfect book that I truly enjoyed reading! Go read it now!

Eyeliner – Pick a dark and mysterious book

L’Oreal Paris Infallible Liquid Eyeliner & Night Film by Marisha Pessl

Image result for l'oreal infallible liquid eyelinerImage result for night film book cover

I’m not too terribly picky about eyeliner and this one works well enough so…..

If there is one book that comes to mind that is both dark AND mysterious it’s Night Film. It’s eerie, suspenseful, and at times downright horrifying! If you looked up dark and mysterious in the dictionary of books a picture of Night Film would be by both…seriously.

Mascara – Pick a Long Book.

Pacifica Dream Big Mascara & And I Darken by Kiersten White

Image result for pacifica dream big mascaraImage result for and i darken book cover

Mascara is another thing I’m not super picky about but I love Pacifica Dream Big for two reasons: 1.) you can twist the wand to have it be longer or shorter and 2.) it has unicorns on it!

I’ve read plenty of long books so I’m just going with And I Darken because it was longer and awesome the entire time.

Blush – Pick a book that had a cringe-worthy romance.

Becca Cosmetics Blushed With Light Palette Blackhearts by Nicole Castroman

Image result for becca blushed with light paletteImage result for blackhearts book cover

Becca blushes are amazing and the only ones I have are in this trio palette so I’m going with all of them, so much pigment!

I’ve read many cringe-y YA romances in my day but one that really takes the cake is the one betwen Edward and Anne in Blackhearts. I just…..can’t even begin to explain because the whole book was awful for me as well but the romance was so trope filled!

Highlighter – Pick a book that brightened your day.

Colourpop Highlighter in Monster & My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows

Image result for colourpop highlighter in monsterImage result for my lady jane book cover

I like all highlighters for the most part, I’m like a bird, attracted to shiny, glittery things. I like the Colourpop highlighters because they’re very pigmented and creamy and the shade Monster is duochrome so it’s really unique.

My Lady Jane is probably the most guaranteed book to brighten your day becaue it’s so light-hearted, fun, and silly! Those words describe it perfectly and it’s just such an entertaining read!

Lipstick – Your favorite book kiss.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Viper & And I Darken Kiersten White

Related imageImage result for and i darken book cover

Colourpop lipsticks are amazing! The Ultra Matte Lips dry down and don’t come off and I personally don’t find the formula drying at all. I also just loooove this shade, so pretty!

I spent the better half of this book shipping Lada and Mehmed and waiting for them to kiss, so of course it’s one of my favorite book kisses. It takes a really well written romance for me to ship it too especially in YA!

The Valentine’s Day Book Tag

top-ten-tuesday47

Of course since Valentine’s Day is tomorrow I’ll be doing this tag! As you all know I’m not big on romances in books or romance books so I will try and do my best!

I found this on As Told by Tina and the original creator of this tag is CC’s Books.

my page divider

1.) Stand Alone Book You Love

Image result for my lady jane book cover

I gave this book 5 stars because it’s just so unique, silly, and entertaining! Highly recommended by the way…..

2.) Dystopian Book You Love

Image result for the knife of never letting go

This is an absolutely amazing book. Period. Full of action, adventure, and heartbreak (seriously YOU WILL CRY). This is dystopian mixed with sci-fi as the people of Earth moved onto this planet.

3.) A Book That You Love But No One Else Talks About

Image result for kingdom of ash and briars

A fantastic book with it’s own plot and world building but also contains four fairy tale retellings too. I thought this book was so interesting and it definitely needs to be talked about more, such an underrated book!

4.) Favorite Book Couple

***** SPOILERS FOR THE DIABOLIC BY S.J. KINCAID BELOW*****

Image result for the diabolic

Nemesis & Tyrus

It really is rare that I enjoy romances in YA books let alone slowly pine away waiting for the characters to love each other. In the case with this book it was both, I really liked that it was a slow burn romance and Nemesis and Tyrus really are perfect for each other….

*****END SPOILERS****

5.) Book That Other People Love But You Haven’t Read Yet

Image result for red rising

Of course there are many popular books that everyone has read and loved that I have yet to get to but one I’m really excited to get to is “Red Rising” especially since I’m sure I’ll love it!

6.) A Book With Red on the Cover

Image result for cruel beauty

I have this on my shelf and it really is gorgeous, however, I wasn’t a HUGE fan of “Crimson Bound” by Rosamund Hodge so we will see if I actually enjoy this one…..

7.) A Book With Pink on the Cover

Image result for rebel belle

Another one on my TBR that sounds interesting enough even if the cover is off-putting for me, it makes it look too fluffy (I know it really isn’t) but I’m still confident I’ll enjoy this book.

8.) You were given a box of chocolate what fictional boyfriend/ or girlfriend would given them to you.

Image result for kell adsomImage result for victor vale vicious

I don’t really do book boyfriends all that much but I’ll go with either Kell from “A Daker Shade of Magic” or Victor Vale from “Vicious”. V.E. Schwab sure does know how to make them…..

9.) You are Single on Valentines Day. What Book would you read? What TV show would you watch? What Movie would you watch?

Image result for the forbidden wish coverImage result for daughter of smoke and bone coverImage result for sweet home alabama

Well if I was I’d be reading either “The Forbidden Wish” or “Daughter of Smoke and Bone”, watching no TV (because I don’t know of any romantic type shows I’d actually enjoy), and watching my favorite rom-com Sweet Home Alabama!

10.) You are in the Book Store. All of a Sudden you get shot with an arrow by Cupid. What New Release will you love?

Image result for the valiant book cover

There aren’t too many new releases I’m confidant I will LOVE but one I’m a little more sure of is “The Valiant” because the main character is a female gladiator, which just sounds badass.

The Sims Book Tag

copy-of-top-ten-tuesday17

I was tagged to do this amazing book tag by my friend Michelle @ Book Adventures! Thank you Michelle and you guys be sure to head over and not only check out her answers for this but also her amazing blog! I mean it…..do it, do it now!

I’m actually really excited to do this tag finally because I freaking love The Sims!

This tag was originally created by Booktuber Hailey in Bookland.

my page divider

The Original Sims – The best author debut.

Image result for kingdom of ash and briars

Kingdom of Ash and Briars by Hannah West

This was an absolutely excellent debut and I cannot wait to read more by this author, she did such a wonderful job with her world building and weaving so many different fairy tale retellings into it! (highly recommend checking this out by the way!)

The Grim Reaper – Saddest character death.

*****WARNING: SPOILERS FOR HARRY POTTER BELOW!!!*****

(Even though I feel like everyone knows anyways….)

Image result for harry potter character deaths

How about just all of the Harry Potter deaths, that about sums it up. These all DESTROYED ME!

*****END SPOILERS*****

Sims Getting Stuck – A character that just got in the way.

Image result for fate of flames

Maia from  “Fate of Flames” is one of the most worthless characters I’ve ever come across, she was the main character and I feel like she did nothing but get in the way and fuck everything up!

Simlish – A book with amazing writing.

Image result for daughter of smoke and boneImage result for lips touch three timesImage result for the forbidden wish

“Daughter of Smoke and Bone” & “Lips Touch: Three Times” by Laini Taylor, seriously has the most gorgeous writing ever! Also “The Forbidden Wish” by Jessica Khoury deserves an honorable mention as well!

Expansion Packs – A series where the books keep on getting better.

Image result for inkheart trilogy

I read this a long time ago when I was in middle school but I read “Inkheart” and it was good but nothing crazy amazing but when I read the sequel “Inkspell” it blew my mind! It was so much better! The finale “Inkdeath” is just as good as well. Definitely a series that got better as it went.

Sim Romance – The worst case of insta-love.

Image result for blackhearts book cover

Of course there are PLENTY of YA books that have insta-love but this book was one of the worst ones because of said insta-love but also because this book turned out to be more insta-lovey romance than anything that involved pirates. I was infuriated, I don’t think I’ve ever been more mad at a book….

Cheats – A book that was entirely unrealistic.

Image result for throne of glass book cover

I read a lot of fantasy and sci-fi so technically ALL the books I read are unrealistic….but I’ll go with “Throne of Glass” being unrealistic anyways since the main character is supposed to be the deadliest assassin in the kingdom and she spend the book 1.) not killing anyone 2.) talking about shoes and dresses 3.) being moony-eyed over TWO different boys and 4.) complaining.

So yeah I would say this was unrealistic…..

Needs Fulfillment – A character who made all the wrong decisions.

Image result for fate of flames

Maia from “Fate of Flames”. Again.

Error Code 12 – A series that started off great but went downhill from there.

Image result for the house of night series books marked through revealed

I actually haven’t really finished a ton of series, I’m good at starting them and never finish them but one that definitely got WORSE was the “House of Night” series by P.C. & Kirsten Cast. I read the first book and it was just okay but that series just kept going on and on and on and on needlessly. I don’ even know why I continued with it for as long as I did!

The Sims Vortex – A book/series that completely engrossed you.

Image result for gone book seriesImage result for jasper dent series

I’m going to go with both the “Gone” series by Michael Grant and the “Jasper Dent” series by Barry Lyga. Both are absolutely amazing and pretty dark,  and I was obsessed with both of them and could not stop reading until I finished both series!

Totally Should’ve… Book Tag

top-ten-tuesday43

I was tagged to do this ages ago by Anna @ My Bookish Dream, sorry this has literally taken me forever to do but thanks Anna for tagging me! Be sure to head over and check out Anna’s answers as well as her blog she’s fantastic and super fun to chat books with!

my page divider

Totally Should’ve…Gotten A Sequel:

Image result for kingdom of ash and briars

I just loved this world and these characters so much I would have loved for this to have a sequel if not a series! Granted it was a combination of retellings as well as its own story but I feel like the author could have kept going using different fairy tales (similar to what Marissa Meyer did with her Lunar Chronicles). Now excuse me while I go cry over this book again….

Totally Should’ve…Had A Spin Off Series:

Image result for alice christina henry

There really aren’t too many series that I have personally finished that I think would have a spin-off series work so I’ll just go with the Chronicles of Alice duology by Christina Henry. To be more specific I’d love to read a book/duology/series about Henry’s Cheshire character which I thought she did a remarkable job on, I also think it’d be pretty easy since there was more than enough information left unsaid about him too!

An Author Who Totally Should’ve…Written More Books:

Image result for gillian flynn

Gillian Flynn! She only has 4 books out total and one of them is a short story! She is an exceptional writer and I have loved every single one of her books and I need more, hopefully she’ll be getting back in the game eventually…..

A Character Who Totally Should’ve… Ended Up With Someone Else:

Image result for harry and hermione ship

I don’t really care too much about any romances in the books I’ve read or if I do (which takes a LOT, trust me) I actually like who the end up with. But I suppose for the sake of answering this question I’ll go with Harry Potter who I thought would have been better with Hermoine. I didn’t really like Ginny (especially in the movies) I felt she was just kind of blah and I just felt Harry and Hermoine would have been better.

Totally Should’ve…Had A Movie Franchise:

Image result for vicious book cover

Okay so this may be cheating a little since I don’t think this book would need a franchise but it DOES need a movie adaptation stat! It’s got morally ambiguous, super-powered characters and there’s a dog, what more could you want in a movie? Plus the powers in this book are straight up awesome and pretty unique!

Totally Should’ve…Had A TV Show:

Image result for the monstrumologist

I think this book/series (from what I’ve read) would make an excellent TV show because there’s just a lot of content and it can also get pretty dark at times. It’d be interesting to watch for sure!

Totally Should’ve…Had Only One Point Of View:

Image result for the rose and the dagger

Not sure about this one since I usually enjoy multiple POVs but I think maybe one that I didn’t particularly  enjoy was “The Rose & The Dagger”. I didn’t like Shazi’s sister’s POV really at all.

Totally Should’ve…Had A Cover Change:

Image result for truthwitch book cover

Most of the time I like the original covers better but one I think could use a cover change is “Truthwitch” even though the series is currently ongoing (I hate when there are cover changes mid-series). The covers just aren’t that pretty and I don’t think it really shows exactly what the books are about either.

Totally Should’ve…Kept The Original Covers:

Image result for the winner's trilogy new covers

I do NOT like the new covers for the Winner’s Trilogy (the ones on the bottom) because I don’t feel like they show Kestrel as she is at all, especially that first cover! Sure Kestrel was trained to use weapons but if you’ve read the book then you know she is NOT good with them and instead is more focused on strategy. Not that the original covers show her much better but at least they’re nicer looking in my opinion.

Totally Should’ve…Stopped At Book One

Image result for the diabolic

I think you guys all know how I feel about this book being marketed as a standalone and then all of a sudden it’s a trilogy? No. Do not wrap up a book completely and say it’s a standalone and then go and decide to make it a series. Just no. Like I said this book was wrapped up nicely and with no loose ends, so why couldn’t we just leave it that way? Should have stopped at book one.

I’m not going to tag anyone to do this one because I feel I tag the same people and you all have a huge pile of tags to do because of me, haha!

Ringing In The New Year Tag

Best book/series that you’ve read in 2016.

Image result for illuminae book cover

There are so many wonderful books that I read in 2016 but I just have to go with “Illuminae” because it was such a fast-paced, action-packed read!

Authors that you’ve recently found and would like to read more of in the new year.

d30e6-jay-kristoff-1006752

Jay Kristoff, of course! It is now my life’s mission to read all of his books period.

Most anticipated book turned movie/TV show.

Image result for a monster calls posterImage result for the dark tower movie poster

(There isn’t an official movie poster out for “The Dark Tower” yet)

I’ll  go with “A Monster Calls” by Patrick Ness because it’s the only one coming out this year that I’ve actually already read. Otherwise I’d say “The Dark Tower” by Stephen King because it looks amazing but I have yet to read that book/series.

Name a character that you wouldn’t mind sharing a kiss with at midnight.

Image result for the diabolic

I don’t really have “book boyfriends” all that much, they have to be PRETTY good for that but I’ll go with Tyrus from “The Diabolic”. He was ruthless and deliciously clever!

What’s on your TBR for 2017.

Image result for the final empireImage result for days of blood and starlightImage result for days of blood and starlight

Image result for blue lily lily blue book coverImage result for the raven king book cover

There are so many! However the books I’m prioritizing this year are starting the Mistborn series with “The Final Empire” by Brandon Sanderson and finishing both the Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy and the Raven Cycle series!

How many books do you plan to read in 2017.

I set my Goodreads reading challenge at 80 books this year so hopefully I’ll read 80 or even more! Also there will be graphic novels sprinkled throughout so it’s kind of cheating but also not really, haha!

Will you participate in the Goodreads reading challenge or any  other.

Yes and I’m also probably going to try and participate in the Beat the Backlist reading challenge as well since I have loads of backlist books that need to get read sooner rather than later. My shelves can’t take it anymore and neither can my checkbook so I’m trying to read more so I can buy more!

Any New Year’s resolutions (Bookish, Blogging, Otherwise).

Noooot really, I’m boring like that. All I can say is that I hope to improve both my reading and blog this year!

The Joy of Christmas Book Tag

top-ten-tuesday31

Christmas is in 3 days! Woohoo! Let’s get into the Christmas spirit with a Christmas book tag! I was tagged to do this by my blogging bestie Michelle @ Book Adventures so make sure to head over and check out her answers for this tag and give her a follow!

my page divider

Anticipation – The Christmas excitement is real, what book release(s) are you most anticipating.

Carve the Mark (Untitled Duology, #1)Daughter of the Pirate KingEmpress of a Thousand SkiesCaraval

I’m definitely the most excited for these 4 books “Carve The Mark” and “Caraval” both come out in January and “Daughter of the Pirate King” and “Empress of a Thousand Skies” come out in February.

I’m on a sci-fi kick so I want all of the YA sci-fi I can get, I also have been dying for an actual YA pirate book, and “Caraval” is super hyped and has tons of great reviews so I want to see what that’s all about.

Christmas Songs & Carols – What book or author can you not help but sing it’s praises.

d30e6-jay-kristoff-1006752

I would go with Jay Kristoff because since reading 4 of his books (all 5 star ratings except “Gemina” which got 4) this year I can’t help but recommend them to everyone and sing his praises! If you love brutal, fast-paced, and great plot twists I’d recommend checking out his books.

Gingerbread Houses – What book or series has wonderful world building.

Image result for daughter of smoke and bone cover

Okay well besides all of  Kristoff’s books that I just mentioned I’d have to say “Daughter of Smoke and Bone” by Laini Taylor has some fantastic world-building! I can’t wait to continue on with the series too.

A Christmas Carol – Favorite classic or one that you want to read.

Image result for the hobbit jrr tolkien

I don’t read a lot of classics because I find it hard to get into the writing a lot of the time. My favorite classic is “The Hobbit” by JRR Tolkien though.

Christmas Sweets – What book would you love to receive for Christmas.

Image result for the night circus

Of course there are LOADS of books I’d like to get for Christmas but they one I’m looking for the most is “The Night Circus” because tons of people love it and recommend it (Michelle included!) and I really need to read it.

Candles in the Window – What book gives you that warm fuzzy feeling.

Image result for kingdom of ash and briars

I don’t read a lot of books that are warm or fuzzy but this book ,while tragic at times, was absolutely magical and adorable.

Christmas Trees & Decorations – What are some of your favorite book covers.

Image result for the forbidden wish coverImage result for and i darken cover

Apparently I have a weakness for purple…..

Christmas Joy – What are some of your favorite things about Christmas.

Getting to spend time with family and friends first of all because that’s important of course! Then I’ll have to go with Michelle and say Christmas lights because they’re just so pretty, I love driving around and looking at Christmas lights. Lastly I’ll say gifts both giving and receiving I looooove Christmas gifts!

Burn, Rewrite, Reread Book Tag

top-ten-tuesday29

I was tagged to do this ages ago by Mariana @ Book Is Glee and it looks like such a fun tag so thank you Mariana! Be sure to head over and check out her answers and blog as well guys, she posts some great content!

I personally just cut up pieces of paper with my favorite books on them and drew at random for this. I also, as mentioned, picked my absolute favorite books to make this as hard and as excruciatingly painful as possible. These books are all 4-5 star reads for me.

Sorry books……

Image result for crying funny gif

I also have reviews up for ALL of these books if you’re interested, with the exception of “Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire”.

Rules:

  • Randomly choose 3 books (Tip: Use the “Sort > Random” option on your Goodreads’ Read shelf.).
  • For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread (a lot like Kiss, Marry, Kill).
  • Repeat until you completed three rounds (or six).

my page divider

round-1

Burn: “Sharp Objects” by Gillian Flynn

I love all of Gillian Flynn’s books and this one is probably my favorite of all of them but when put up against these other two books I’m afraid it will have to be burned…..

Rewrite: “The Wrath & The Dawn” by Renee Ahdieh

So this doesn’t really need a rewrite because the story and writing are so wonderful already buuuuuut I liked “My Lady Jane” just a little bit more so this will just have to get rewritten…..

Reread: “My Lady Jane” by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, & Jodi Meadows

This is such a fun, silly, entertaining, and unique read that I just can’t bear to have it be burned or rewritten so I’ll just reread it instead!

round-11

Burn: “Slasher Girls & Monster Boys” by Various Authors

As much as I love some of the stories in this anthology there’s a few that I didn’t really  enjoy….at all. So when it’s up against these other two I’m sorry my friend…you’ll have to be burned.

Rewrite: “Half a King” by Joe Abercrombie

This book is all of my fantasy dreams come true, it’s basically YA Game of Thrones. Unfortunately for it though it’s going to be re-written because the writing is just kind of meh and when put up against Laini Taylor’s writing…it will lose.

Reread: “Daughter of Smoke and Bone” by Laini Taylor

Of course I couldn’t do anything to this precious book because it is perfect and the writing is absolutely beautiful. It could never be burned or rewritten!

round-12

Burn: “Six of Crows” by Leigh Bardugo

I’M SO SORRY! I DON’T WANT TO BURN YOU! However, I just love these other two books much more. While this book has great writing, great characters, and a great plot it just can’t compete with the genius of Kristoff and Scwhab. So goodbye my friend..you’ve been burned!

Rewrite: “Nevernight” by Jay Kristoff

I really like how poetic Kristoff’s writing is and I loooove this book so much but a lot of people complained about the writing being TOO lyrical. I do kind of agree that it does get a little annoying but I really didn’t mind and actually really liked it. I will go with this being rewritten since it could stand for a little improvement though.

Reread: “Vicious” V.E. Schwab

Seriously, this book is perfection. Morally ambiguous, super-powered characters and  great writing to boot. How can you not love this book?! I just have to reread this one and I actually will do it in the future……

round-14

Burn: “The Knife of Never Letting Go” by Patrick Ness

I AM SORRY, I AM SORRY, I AM SO SORRY! I love this book and everything about it is perfect but….I love the other books more. This is so hard, I’m so upset!!!! Why, book tag? Why?!

Rewrite: “Illuminae” by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufman

While I really loved and enjoyed this book I really didn’t like the main characters or romance all that much. So I definitely think there’s room for improvement and a rewriting could help it out.

Reread: “Stormdancer” by Jay Kristoff

It’s no secret I love Jay Kristoff’s books and I have to say “Stormdancer” is probably my favorite one. There’s animal companionship, a badass heroine, and some awesome world-building so really it definitely does not need to be burned or rewritten!

round-15

Burn: “Alice” by Christina Henry

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS BOOK AND I’M SO TORN! I really don’t want to burn it but…..while I love the book it’s definitely really disturbing and dark so compared to these other two I’d have to just give this one up.

Rewrite: “The Raven Boys” by Maggie Stiefvater

While I love this book and the characters so much I think it could stand to be rewritten and improved upon. There’s nothing wrong with it the way it is but if it’s between this and Harry Potter well…..Harry Potter always wins.

Reread: “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” by J.K. Rowling

Of course I’m going to ensure that Harry Potter is okay! I’ve been meaning to reread the entire series for a while now and we’ll see how that goes in the future.

round-16

Burn: “Kingdom of Ash and Briars” by Hannah West

This was such a wonderful surprise of a book and I really hate to burn it……really, really hate to burn it. I’M SO SAD! I just happened enjoy these other two books more…..

Rewrite: “And The Trees Crept In” by Dawn Kurtagich

While I did enjoy this book I feel like it could use a couple of improvements and therefore I’m picking it to get rewritten!

Reread: “And I Darken” by Kiersten White

This book has such awesome character development and a badass heroine that I couldn’t stand to see it burn or be rewritten so reread it shall be!
