Also always looking for an excuse to use ‘John Wick’ gifs. Sorry, the unannounced break was needed apparently. I have been out of the loop and I actually hate not knowing what’s going on in the book community, I’ve missed it! Without further ado here’s my (mostly reading) wrap ups for May and June!

May Wrap-Up

Top Ten Tuesday (48)

May Wrap-Up

Top Ten Tuesday(60)

I think I’m the MOST proud of this month considering…well just everything! I read more books than usual (well not that many more but shhhhhh), got more posts up, and even got a pretty good spike in my stats and such! So I think it’s safe to say I had a really great May!

I’m definitely looking forward to June with all of the great new releases coming up and hopefully more time to read!

Books Read This Month: 7

The Seafarer's Kiss by Julia EmberAn Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa TahirThe Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil GaimanEvery Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuireRuthless by Carolyn Lee AdamsAlice by J.M. SullivanYou Will Know Me by Megan Abbott

I pretty much enjoyed every single book I read this month, really the only ones that were okay were “The Seafarer’s Kiss” and “Ruthless” but the rest were amazing! That’s actually a pretty good month, now that I think about it, where I didn’t hate at least one book. I was definitely the most impressed with “An Ember in the Ashes”, “Every Heart A Doorway”, and “You Will Know Me”.

Reviews Finished This Month:

The Seafarer’s Kiss by Julia Ember

Red Rising by Pierce Brown

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

Alice: The Wanderland Chronicles by J.M. Sullivan

Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire

The Hundredth Queen (The Hundredth Queen, #1)

I know, I know I was supposed to read this in May but I’m working on it! So far it’s a pretty decent story but nothing mind blowing yet!
