There’s definitely quite a few books being released this month and I’m excited for a few as well! There’s also an honorable mentions section at the end including books that are part of series that I have not yet started or just books I personally don’t think I’d enjoy.

May was an alright month for me, I’m getting a little behind with both my reading and blogging (more than I’d like to be) but I blame it on Summer Fever! Hopefully the start of summer will give me some more down time for both though!
I don’t talk much about graphic novels on my blog but I definitely should because there’s some amazing ones out there! I find it hard to review individual volumes which is why you don’t see many reviews from me but I thought I’d share some of my favorites with you guys.
The number of volumes I put next to each title is the number I personally have read, there are volumes I have yet to read!

I was trying to think of a post I could do of book recommendations that kind of broke the mold a little bit. You know, not the typical “fantasy recs” or “sci-fi recs” (which I still love by the way!). PLUS everyone could use a good, short book every once in a while right?

I know, I know: that’s a TON of books! Fortunately I didn’t pay full price for a single one of them! This haul is an accumulation of books I received for review, books I bought at my library’s book sale, Book Outlet (of course), and my first order from Thrift Books. I was actually really happy with the condition of the used books from Thrift Books, I was a little leery at first but I was pleasantly surprised.
