Top Ten Tuesday: Perfect Summer Reading Books!

Top Ten Tuesday(9)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

It has now been moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl.

During the summer I personally find that I’m more drawn to mystery/thrillers or fluffy/dramatic contemporaries, there is no in between! So these are books that I think make for great summer reads whether you’re at the beach, pool, or traveling!

These are in no particular order and I will provide links to my full reviews if I have them available. (each title is linked to my full review)

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Should Have DNF’d

Top Ten Tuesday(9)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

It has now been moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl.

I did want to follow the original theme for this week “Books I DNF’d Too Quickly” or at the very least I wanted to talk about books I have DNF’d. However, I just haven’t DNF’d that many books! So I decided to do this one, in which I will talk about books I probably REALLY should have DNF’d instead of suffering through.

These are in no particular order and I will link up my full review if I have one.

Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Worlds I’d NEVER Want To Live In

Top Ten Tuesday(9)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

It has now been moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl.

A pretty straight forward topic and since we always seem to discuss bookish worlds we DO want to live in I thought it’d be interesting to do the opposite!

These are in no particular order!

Top Ten Tuesday: Book I Didn’t Enjoy But Am Glad I Read Anyways

Top Ten Tuesday(9)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

It has now been moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl.

This is an interesting topic this week since normally if I read a book and didn’t like it I wouldn’t really be glad that I wasted my time. However, there are always exceptions!

These are in no particular order and if I have a review I will link each title to it!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Slay A Fire-Breathing Demon Dragon To Get Early

Top Ten Tuesday(9)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

It has now been moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl.

I’d just like to say I’m not really a fan of the idea of slaying/hurting a lion (which was the original post title/theme) so that’s why I tweaked the post title a bit, plus it sounds more badass this way in my opinion.

As usual these are in no particular order.

Top Ten Tuesday: Frequently Used Title Words in YA Books

Top Ten Tuesday(9)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

It has now been moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl.

This is such a fun topic and one that I found myself thinking about at random too, there really are some words out there that show up all the time in YA titles! I just went onto Goodreads and looked at all of the books I’ve both read and added to come up with this list. There are probably a few I missed though! Also some of these have a lot of titles and some only have a few, I wanted to try and think of some more unique words that show up quite a bit instead of the typical: you, me, love, etc.

This is going to be a bit shorter since it’s pretty much just a list and I don’t have much to say about each individual word or title!

These are in no particular order.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Love That I Have Under 2,000 Goodreads Ratings

Top Ten Tuesday(9)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

It has now been moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is a freebie, so I went through the extensive list of previous topics on The Broke and The Bookish (link above) and picked this one! I’m always a fan of receiving and giving underrated book recommendations, and having under 2,000 ratings is a good standard for being underrated I feel. So here’s some books I loved that need some more love!
