I’m at the point where I’m just hoping the new year will re-motivate me for blogging and reading. I mean look at me! Posting my wrap-up on the 11th! I never wait this long! I just don’t feel like doing anything and it’s awful! I’ve been complaining about this slump since August and here I am….December and still complaining. This wrap up doesn’t even feel like a wrap up because I just haven’t really done as much as I normally do! Oh well, I’ve tried not to be too hard on myself for it because I could use a break but if I can still post sometimes and do a small break I feel it’ll help.
Hopefully 2019 will get me my groove back!
In case you were wondering, I’m still epically failing with my reading. I think the amount I’m getting behind on is so overwhelming it makes me feel worse and then I keep getting further behind. It’s a vicious cycle that’s for sure. I’m not sure I’ll be catching up in these next two months in the year or not, I’ll try! It’s just that the holidays get super busy.
Thank you all for being patient with me while I try to get back on track with posting more and READING more!
Can my slump be over now? Holy crap. I have just not been very satisfied with my blogging, reading, bookstagramming, literally everything, lately. I just feel really “blah” about it but I’m hoping that since it’s October now that I can get out of this darn slump! I get to read spooky reads now so the slump needs to end! I’m sorry for being absent for pretty much the entirety of September but I’m working on coming back so I thank you all for bearing with me and for your continued support!
Yeah I went into an extreme slump last month, I got “stuck” reading some books that were kind of meh instead of reading anything really good and when that happens I tend to get into a rut. So I’m not proud of last month whatsoever, I did not get as much done as I wanted. Hopefully I can get a little more on track this month and start reading some good books!
I feel so freaking accomplished! Overall I had a fantastic month with both blogging and reading and I’m pretty proud of myself. I read 9 full books and did a whole lot more posts than I usually do and actually kept on top of things pretty well. I’m not going to get my hopes up too much for August but hopefully I’ll do well this coming month too!
I didn’t get quite as much reading done as I would have liked but I was happy with the books I did get to, they were all fantastic! However, July has me stuck with a TON of reading to catch up on now. I may or may not be crushed to death by my TBR pile, if you all don’t hear from me that’s probably what happened! Still, I’m looking forward to another great reading month this July, hopefully you all will as well!
May was an alright month for me, I’m getting a little behind with both my reading and blogging (more than I’d like to be) but I blame it on Summer Fever! Hopefully the start of summer will give me some more down time for both though!
April overall was an average month, I did hit a bit of a reading slump in there but pushed myself out of it! I would have liked to have read and posted more but I just didn’t get around to it, dang slumps!
Hopefully all of you had a great reading month and here’s to a great May!
I feel like February was kind of an average month for me as far as things go, I didn’t accomplish all that I’d hoped to but I kind of got bogged down reading “The Heart Forger” because the pacing is a bit slow.
I got a few books read and a few posts done but I’m hoping to crack down here in March and get MORE done since I have quite a few books that need to start getting read!
I also decided to start featuring some of my Bookstagram pictures in my monthly wrap-ups, as I had a few of you say you don’t have Instagram but would like to see some of my photos!
So surprisingly enough January ended up being a decent month even though half way through I felt like I was on the verge of both a blogging slump and a reading slump. However, I kind of forced my way through it and now I’m hoping to get a little bit more on track this month.
Books Read This Month: 9
I have to say I was kind of disappointed that I didn’t read more and that all of the books were “meh”, the only ones I enjoyed were “Bad Romance” and the Locke & Key graphic novels. Everything else didn’t live up to my expectations, unfortunately.
