I’m so sorry for my absence lately, I’m just not feeling very read-y or blog-y. It all feels like a chore or a second job for me at the moment and I’m not up to it. I’m going to keep trying to do up new posts and finish some books though, so please bear with me as I’m slowly trying to get back into my groove!
This September I have many books to get through that I know I won’t be able to do, so here is a more toned down TBR list. Setting more realistic expectations is definitely something I need to do right now so I’m not too overwhelmed! This is pretty much the same thing as my August TBR but the “leftovers” so to speak. I figured I would do an update anyways!
This post will be a bit shorter than usual just due to the fact that I described all of these for last month’s TBR and I feel like I’m constantly describing these books. There’s only so many ways I can say the same thing! So I won’t be doing that this time around. If you want some mini descriptions please see my August TBR which I have linked above.
The Siren & The Specter by Jonathan Janz
I’m currently reading this and so far so amazing! I’ve heard lots of other good things and blame Destiny for making me desperate to read it! It’s a horror novel about a haunted house and it’s just really well written, I’m enjoying it a lot.
Ruin of Stars (Mask of Shadows #2) by Linsey Miller
The 48 by Donna Hosie
The Impossible Girl by Lydia Kang
Nightingale by Amy Lukavics
For A Muse of Fire by Heidi Heilig
Dare You To Lie by Amber Lynn Natusch
Strange Grace by Tessa Gratton
Are any of these books on your TBR?
Have you read any of these, what did you think?
What are you planning on reading this month?
Let me know in the comments!

I have felt like that a few times
it definitely sucks but take your time and come back when you’re ready. I’m rooting for you 🙂 I hope this month gets better Heather!

I’m sorry you’re not in the blogging mood lately! 😦 I had that for a bit in August and I saw a lot of bloggers go on hiatus and stuff during August so I’m thinking it was a hard time of year for a lot of us – maybe you’re feeling some of that, too? Either way, I hope it passes soon. ♥♥ And I hope you love The Siren and the Specter! I’m about to start Nightingale and really excited for it. I’m also reading Strange Grace right now (I have to finish it tonight and post a review tomorrow, I’m about 75% in right now) and it’s odd, I LOOOOVED the first 30% but ever since about that point I have been really bored. 😦 I heard the ending is awesome though so hopefully it will pick up and we’ll both end up loving it.

I am sorry that you are in a bit of a blogging slump, I hate it when the things we love (blogging and reading) feel like a chore. Take all the time you need and I hope the passion comes back soon!
I really enjoyed SIREN AND THE SPECTER, and hope you do too!
