October Wrap-Up

top-ten-tuesday17

So after a bit of a hiatus in August and September I came back in full force for October, which may or may not have been due to my love of horror books and Halloween. I got quite a few posts done and a few books read so overall it was a very good month! Hopefully November will be just as great!

Sorry, this is a pretty short post!

I saw a typo, you said July when you meant it to be October. I am looking forward to Blood for Blood, A Sun Is Also A Star, Heartless, and much more. I am still reading three books that I started in October. October wasn’t my best month. I am hoping November will be.

Thank you for catching that! I went and changed it…so embarassing haha.
I’m definitely looking forward to Heartless as well and I still need to read Wolf by Wolf!
I hope November is better for you as well! 🙂

Quite a nice blogging month! I was so surprised to see I’d read 6 books, I can’t believe it happened! I hope you get more reading time in November! 🙂 I loved Queen of Shadows and had an amazing (and horrendous) time with A Suitable Lie, so I consider October a good reading month! After all, a miracle happened: I stopped rolling my eyes at Aelin!

Thank you! I wish I could have finished 6 books but I was stuck with a few slow books so I didn’t read as fast as I would have liked.
Glad you had a good month with some great books! 🙂

Awesome blogging month! And again, so glad that you’re back! 🙂 I need to get to And the Trees Crept In; I wish I had been able to get to it in time for Halloween. Also, I’ve been meaning to tell you (but once again I am insanely far behind on commenting) I’ve had Kingdom of Ash and Briars on my TBR for a bit, but your review was wonderful and totally made me 1000x more excited to read it! 😀
My month sort of sucked both reading and blogging-wise, but I’m hoping to get back on track a bit this month. I’ve been going through a really rough patch lately, and unfortunately reading and blogging are suffering too. 😦 But I am currently reading Miss Peregrine’s (in a buddy read with my dad! haha!) and am hoping to start Timekeeper soon! We definitely need to do another buddy read soon, or maybe a collab post of some sort? Release our Sassy Quirkiness on the blogosphere! 😛

YAY! I really hope you enjoy Kingdom of Ash and Briars, I feel like it’s quite the hidden gem and I was surprised by how much I loved it. It’s very cute and gritty all at once if that makes sense, haha!
Sorry to hear you’re having problems 😦 I can’t wait to have you get back to posting more though!
Yes we do need to do something together soon, it’s basically a matter of picking a book and squeezing it in too! Also I LOVE that, “Sassy Quirkiness” it’s perfect! We should do a collaborative post and fit that into the title somehow! 🙂

Thank you Lauren! And uuuggghh I need to get the review up but I thought it was alright I didn’t like it as much as the first one. I thought the beginning was good but the middle was a little slow and the end was excellent. I’m definitely interested to see where the next book will take the story! 🙂

I thought the same thing! The first was better, but it was still a good read and helped me get out of a slump haha I hate how her mum died too. Like it was so sudden and then just kinda brushed over??

I agree! Her death was basically just used as a device to put Sofia in the Catholic school and I really liked her mom too!
